Okay, I know you say not to ask about the quotes, but I have to wonder. Mostly because I occasionally do the same thing... I'll spontaneously start speaking as if I'm writing a book. Only I'll include "she said" and a little bit of narration about what I'm thinking and such rather than just straight dialogue. Anyhow, is it something like that with you?

"I'm gonna copy and paste what I said earlier, hope you don't mind. I started using the internet and such(neopets) when I was in elementary school. During then, I was taught that all conversation in writing has to be written in quotes. So to remember that, I decided whenever I used the intenet and talked to people on neopets or something like that I would use quotes to remember that..Well now it's years later, and I can't drop the habit" "I've tried, then unconsciously I always end up typing in quotes. So now I just deal with it and put that in my sig so people wouldn't ask me that. But I don't mind occasional questions..So yes, it's kind of similar" =D
